The company was established by Mr. Fadel Sultan and Mrs. Laila Hussein Farag who have been working in the ready-made industry for 35 years. Their work in this field began in 1967 with the factory of ready made clothes which produced 150 units per day.
The activity broadened gradually and a new factory was established in Alexandria. The production reached 3000 units per day in 1985 (Leilet Factory) and the company changed to C.A.E in 1990. A new factory for ready-made clothes was established in the same year in Borg Al Arab, with a separate legal existence “The Egyptian International Company of Dyeing and Knitting" which is a S.A.E. and its products covered the stages of texture, dyeing, and printing to achieve the vertical integration. The products rose to 8000 units per day.
The work elaborated again in 1997 and a new factory with a separate legal identity “DYETEX for ready-made clothes" was established in Borg Al Arab. The productive energy was 11000 units per day.
In 1999, three factories were merged in one company with one legal identity and then the productive energy reached 20000 units per day.
The Egyptian International Company for Knitting and Dyeing “DYETEX“:
S.A.E company established in 1990 with for:
- Tricot and Dyeing Industry
- Ready-made Clothes Industry
- Exportation and Importation according to the company’s purposes.
In 1999, the company merged with the company of “Leilet for Tricot and Ready-made Clothes" and became "The Egyptian International Co. for Knitting and Dyeing" which is a C.A.E.
